FAST 70MPH UP Trains near Mobile, AZ - 11/12/2024

The Union Pacific RR was playing a game of 'Hurry up and Wait' with their westbound trains on the UP Gila subdivision, as a derailment in Sentinel, AZ roughly 9hrs before the first shot closed the mainline. I was out near Mobile, AZ south of the metropolis, Phoenix before I had heard the news, so I thought "I'll just see what I see". The UP did not disappoint with 3 westbound trains ripping past me upwards of 70 miles an hour, the fastest most of these locomotives are built to go.
