Eligibility Criteria for Civic Volunteer
Educational Qualification and Experience:
• 8th class passed
• Should be physically & mentally fit
• He/She should not have any criminal record against him / her in any Police Station
• Candidates applying for Police Housing Estate need to have working experience in Plumbing/Carpentry/ Masonry work.
• Candidates applying for River Traffic Police need to know Swimming. Candidates having working experience as Engine Driver and Serang will be given preference.


Age Limit:
• 20 to 60 Years

Selection Procedure for Civic Volunteer :

• Selection will be based on the interview by the Selection Committee.

How to Apply for Kolkata Police Civic Volunteer Posts 2018-19 :

• The eligible candidates can collect the Application Form on all days from the concerned offices as mentioned in the table BELOW or may download the application form from the official Website of Kolkata Police (www.kolkatapolice.gov.in) and submit the same at the place of submission mentioned in the table on or before 20 December 2018.
The envelope containing the application should be super scribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CIVIC VOLUNTEER”.
