Visiting Southeast Asia’s largest Giant Panda exhibit at River Wonders! 🐼🎋

Meet Kai Kai (18) and Jia Jia (17) - Singapore’s beloved panda pair who arrived from China in 2012 as conservation ambassadors. They’re the proud parents of Le Le, Singapore’s first and only panda cub born in 2021!

The 1,500m² Pavilion Capital Giant Panda Forest is specially climate and humidity-controlled to simulate their natural bamboo forest habitat in China. As a key part of the global giant panda conservation program, this exhibit helps raise awareness about protecting these vulnerable species.

Fun fact: Giant pandas were reclassified from endangered to vulnerable in 2016, thanks to successful conservation efforts worldwide! Today, 500-1,000 mature pandas live in the wild.

Their stay has been extended until 2027, so there’s still time to witness these incredible creatures! 🇸🇬🇨🇳
