A country standard, written by Cindy Walker around a title suggested by Eddy Arnold, "You Don't Know Me" was a big hit for Ray Charles in 1962 and Elvis released it on a single in 1967. It had also featured in the movie Clambake earlier that year, with a more understated treatment. I suspect that there are very few people who cannot have identified with the lyrics at some time in their lives. Recorded on 26 August 2024 in the key of C, modulating into C# (the original is in B into C), video length 3 mins 03 secs.
