Azhimala Siva statue is the tallest Siva statue in kerala. Azhimala is a beautiful place in Trivandrum famous for Azhimala Siva temple and cliff beach. Kerala’s tallest Siva statue is constructed in this Azhimala (~55 feet). The statue is very detailed and very beautiful 3D structure constructed by Devadathan. Azhimala is ~21 KM from Trivandrum city. As the name suggest Aazhi means sea, Mala means hill – this place is a meeting point of Sea and Cliff. There are rock and sand beaches at Azhimala and are too beautiful. Always be careful when entering the cliff, rocky areas as the rocks are slippery. There are parking lots available at temple for devotees. KSRTC buses ply frequent trips here from Trivandrum city.
