Walter Davis still got it done at age 34, a decade after being an All-Star for the Phoenix Suns, Davis averaged 15.6 points in 22.9 minutes off the bench, if anyone was the Sixth Man of the Year runner up this season, it most likely would've been "The Greyhound" not only due to the scoring average on a playoff team, but also playing in 81 of the 82 games this season at age 34. Eddie Johnson won the award this year, averaging 21.5 points off the bench. Hard to argue with that.

This night against the Celtics on the parquet floor of the Boston Garden, Davis would top his scoring average by 3 with 7 field goals.
