Skyrim Patch 1.9 Adds Legendary Difficulty

Skyrim's 1.9 update has been available on PC for a few weeks now, but if you're like me and playing it on console you haven't tried out the new features.

It is an automatic update for the game that adds a Legendary difficulty setting. You can also reset a skill as Legendary once it hits level 100, dropping it back to level 15 and resetting the perks. This essentially removes the level cap by letting you use the skill again to level up.

There is also a long list of bug fixes including crash fixes and mission-specific fixes involving the Dark Brotherhood, the Battle of Whiterun, and many others. And for those out there would like to take shortcuts, the Oghma Infinium exploit has been fixed. You can no longer place the unread book on the bookshelf in your house to reuse the book over and over again.
