Since the end of World War II, the Indigo Generation began arriving in waves to help the Earth during its time of crisis. According to Dolores Cannon, following the atomic bomb’s explosion, the Galactic Council sent out a cosmic call for volunteers to assist humanity. With free will granted to mankind, these souls couldn’t intervene directly but could incarnate from various star systems, offering their wisdom and guidance from within.

Starting in the late 1940s, five Indigo generations began to manifest on Earth, each bringing a new wave of energy to assist with the planet’s ascension. Dolores Cannon referred to these as "the three waves of volunteers," which corresponded to three types of children: Indigo, Crystal, and Rainbow Children.

Here are the five Indigo generations:

1) The Alpha Generation (Baby Boomers)
Born from post-WWII to 1968, these Indigos arrived with blue-violet-green overlays and often faced struggles fitting into Earthly life. Many rebelled against societal norms and felt disconnected from their true origins, paving the way for future generations.

2) The Beta Generation (1968-1978)
If you were born between 1968 and 1978, you may belong to the Beta Generation. These Indigos shared the same blue-violet-green overlays, but their awakening came between 1996 and 2006. Rebellious by nature, they often challenged authority and sought to change the world but faced battles with low self-esteem and scattered energy.

3) The Gamma Generation (1978-1988)
Born between 1978 and 1988, this generation displayed fewer overlays, sometimes violet or crystal. Known for showing symptoms of autism, ADHD, and Asperger’s Syndrome, they faced challenges fitting into mainstream society, often experiencing anxiety and isolation. Their awakening occurred between 2006 and 2016.

4) The Delta Generation (1988-1998)
The Delta Generation, born between 1988 and 1998, are considered the pure Indigos or Crystals. They often demonstrate intense ADD/ADHD symptoms and have chameleonic overlays, such as crystal or opalescent colors. Fearless and introspective, they face unique challenges, particularly within dysfunctional families, but also possess the power to overcome karma rapidly.

5) The Omega Generation (1998-2008)
Born between 1998 and 2008, Omega Generation Indigos or Rainbows tend to incarnate into functional families, free of karma, and focused on their soul work. They are known for their pure energy and are the most connected to their higher purpose, with an awakening period from 2026 to 2036.

Remember, these generational periods do not limit the ability of other souls to assist in the ascension process. If you feel called to help, your mission is valid, regardless of when you were born.
