REMOVAL:
It's best to start from the bottom of the bumper and work your way to the wheel wells. This way the last bolts or clips your remove from the top will loosen the front bumper so you take it off from the top down preventing the bumper from falling on you. Don't worry the bumpers aren't heavy so they won't cause too much harm. For the push pins, you can remove the plastic push pins with your flat-head screwdriver but panel clip pliers would be ideal. As our installer is removing the clips from the wheel well, is also pulling the bumper off the bracket. the bracket is always bolted onto the fender and there is usually another bracket under the headlight that the bumper clips to. You do not have to remove the headlight on this or most vehicles. The last part of the removal is detaching the front bumper from the top or top of the radiator. There are just more push pins here, so you can practice more with your flat-head screwdriver or breeze through it with your panel clip pliers. As I mentioned before, the bumper is also clipped in under the headlight. The bumper should come off with minimal force and be-careful not to damage the fog light wires or parking sensors if you have them. Detach the wires to complete the bumper removal.

Bumper Accessories:
You will have to remove all the accessories from your original bumper. Whether you buy an aftermarket or OEM part, all the accessories should fit just fine. We definitely recommend reusing any parts that you can to save money. We started by removing the fog light bezel that is only clipped on. The fog lights themselves are held on by a couple screws on the front side of the bumper. There is also a rubber piece on the bottom of the bumper, sometimes called a front spoiler that is clipped onto the bottom of the bumper. Honda makes installs pretty easy, the bottom grille snaps onto the bumper and is easy to remove. The top grill is similar to the bottom grille but also utilizes two plastic clips on each side.

Once everything is removed from your old Honda FIT bumper, just work your way backward and reattach it to your awesome new replacement bumper. Firmly push the grilles into place, you should hear them snap into place. Remember, you have to screw the fog lights in first before you attach the bezel.

Install:
Working backward, plug in the fog light wires and pop the bumper back on. This bumper will attach under the headlight and at the corners of the bumper bracket. Just retrace your steps and reinsert all the appropriate screws and plastic pins/clips. Start from the top of the bumper but be sure the hood sits flush. If you are happy with the spacing and closing of the hood, secure the bumper at the wheel wells. We started with the bottom clips, and we are going to end with the bottom clips. Don't forget the hood latch and you're all done! We told you it was easy.
