The Bergmann Mobile Jumbo Rollpacker is ideally suited to council CRC and recycling centres. The purpose of the machine is to increase the volume of waste in open top containers. The machine achieves this by applying a heavy weight to the top of the material to crush and compress material. The weighted drum then moves back and forward within the container crushing the waste and increasing the total weight in the container. This process reduces the frequency of uplifts on the container and removes the need for as many vehicle movements between Recycling centres and transfer stations. This particular model is also fitted with a front container lifting ram, which enables the machine to move containers up to 10 tonnes in weight, further reducing the need for larger truck mounted vehicles to come and move containers about recycling sites.
