HOW TO PAINT A WOODLAND STREAM

With this video David will take you through the complete painting. A 16 x 12 inch oil painting of a woodland landscape and a slow moving river. It’s a classic subject so here is a different approach.
It starts with an empty, blank canvas and you can follow the different stages of roughing in the shape, blocking in the major colour areas and working up the detail.
You can watch the methods David uses to apply and manipulate the oil paint, his brush techniques and also the colours that David used on this canvas.
