A Peregrine Falcon making a kill on the wing is footage I have been after for almost a decade. The Peregrine had been perched on a branch overlooking the river when I saw it take off and fly in my direction. It was clearly after something. The Peregrine flew over the road and locked onto a Rock Pigeon over the river which it just managed to catch by the wing, before flying back on the rock to pluck it.

A moment I will never forget.
