This is the only video I know of Dr. John "Dropkick" Murphy in action as he partners with Nick Lutze to take on LaVerne Baxter & Hardboiled Haggerty. A popular wrestler and actual doctor Murphy opened a famous alcohol rehabilitation farm outside of Boston. Known as Dropkick Murphy's it would give it's name to a popular Boston band. Murphy was exciting in the ring and shows off many of his namesake dropkicks in this match. His partner here is Nick Lutze who was very popular and a top draw as a wrestler. He would turn to promotion and force Lou Daro and Toots Mondt out of business in LA. Unfortunately he would be forced out himself by the newly formed NWA.

This match comes from Los Angeles and I believe is from the later 1930's. It is an early team match before the tag part was added. All four men are in the ring at the same time in this 2/3 falls affair.
