Join the Blue Ridge Bartram Trail Conservancy and Backlot Cinema on our fourth section hike of the 110-mile Bartram Trail.

This month we continue with Bartram Week, the Blue Ridge Bartram Trail Conservancy’s celebration of William Bartram’s travels through these mountains in May of 1775.

Get an overview of William’s travels in the Appalachians on the eve of the American Revolution. Very few settlers had traveled through this area before because of the Proclamation Boundary of 1763. Hear about the sights and sounds William experienced along the way. In this episode you will also enjoy plants, animals and several waterfalls we pass on the trail.
