The recent changes in organ allocation to promote broad sharing have created new challenges in organ transplantation. Timely communication of key information is more challenging among an increasingly diverse number of transplant programs from diverse geographic locations. This complexity may contribute to prolonged cold ischemic times, late re-allocation, and, potentially, discard of transplantable organs if not addressed proactive. This webinar will feature three technologies designed to improve communication of key data - the revised DonorNet Mobile platform, mobile telepathology solutions for biopsy reading and review, and organ offer coordination and communication platforms for OPO and transplant centers. These tools will be useful for transplant surgeons, administrators, OPO personnel, and clinical coordinators to respond to allocation changes proactively.
