Lovely, sticky Golden Syrup recipe - and you can make this dead easy. Just make sure you don't take your face off while doing it because that will reduce your enjoyment of the finished product quite significantly. You only need sugar, water and a slice of lemon. Oh, you also need patience and caution but they don't count as ingredients. Just remember to brush your teeth after having this and you'll be fine. Enjoy!

Golden syrup recipe:

100g sugar
50 ml water

Cook on a medium heat until a light golden colour.

Add 300ml of boiling water, 500g of sugar and a slice of lemon and cook on low with a gentle simmer for 50 minutes.
