NATURE'S TREASURE:
A modern breakthrough in the discovery and mining of Potash occurs in the prairie Provinces of Western Canada. Some 5 billion tons are discovered there. Potassium from Potash is vital to plant and animal life, business, industry and the Space program.

ANIMAL ALMANAC:
At Catskill Game Farm in upstate New York, children and adults flock to feed all kinds of animals which rove openly. Llamas, deer, goats, camels....some three thousand animal species are here. And, in Dallas Zoo, we meet "Vicky" and "Mickey", baby gorillas.

SPORTS

WATER SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS:
The best water skiers in the country compete in the national Championships at Christopher Lake, Miami, Florida. Slalom, jumping and tricks are the major events. High speeds and spectacular spills feature this four-day whirl.

STOCK CAR SPECTACULAR:
At Brands Hatch track, England, drivers zip through the oval in a wild and wooly stock car Race Of The Stars Trophy". Cars collide, tires explode, wheels fly into the grandstand, but Ted Janes lasts out the race....and wreckage....and wins it!
