Lake Whitney State Park was one of the first Texas State Parks where I put camera and mobility scooter together and created a virtually tour of the state park. Needless to say the videos were not great and left a lot of unanswered questions.
We decided to hold our very first YouTube event at Lake Whitney State Park in the dead of winter and in the few days before our arrival Texas was hit by a massive ice storm and many roads were not drive-able. When I arrived there were 12 inch icicles hanging off of the front RV cap!
Lake Whitney State Park has so much to off for the Rver! Wonderful full connection site with lots of shade, a day use area where you can relax and cool off on a hot summers day. Long hiking trails and even a small plane runway!
