#ChrisRea (Christopher Anton Rea 4 March 1951 – 22 December 2025) was an English #rock and #blues singer-songwriter, guitarist and record producer. He was known for his distinctive gravelly voice, slide guitar playing and music style blending softrock with blues.
The singer achieved the top of his success in the late 1980s - early 1990s, with the release of his tenth studio album "The Road to Hell" (1989), which many consider one of his best, as well as followed by the album "Auger" (1991)

This is his first album of ballads for years, following a string of albums dedicated purely to soul. The British singer and guitarist is supported by Imelda May.
