Vivaldi: Sonata for Recorder in F Major (RV 52)

0:00 I. Andante
1:41 II. Allemande
4:41 III. Gigue

There is almost no information about this sonata other than that it does appear the complete edition of Vivaldi's work so in the 1970s it was considered authentic. Vivaldi wrote several concerti for recorders (the size is up for debate) but this sonata is pretty clearly for an F instrument and while it is fine on alto recorder, as it never goes too high I have played it on sopranino to once again demonstrate that it is not just "that squeaky thing" and can actually be played with some finesse. The sonata is in three movements, starting with an Andante (it feels like a Sicilienne to me), then an Allemande and Gigue. If you blink, you'll miss the Gigue as it's only sixteen bars long.
