Go to 0:10 to see the signal go from yellow to green and then go to 1:58 to see the trolley knock down the signal back to red.

The trolley signal is very old and has been there when trolleys started coming through here in 1991. The signal is very rusty on the back side, the paint is fading, and it still has all incandescent bulbs like the rest of them on this entire line. The signal with the 3 lenses is almost like a traffic light. Green means go, yellow means go slow, and red means stop. To be more specific, the green light means go at normal speed, the yellow means go at reduced speed because the next signal could be red and/or another trolley could be close by down the tracks, and red means stop because the next trolley ahead is too close. Those 3 colors also mean that the signal is in sync with the rest of the upcoming signals.

The single lens on the bottom is a white/lunar light and it's only used when a trolley needs to change tracks just past this signal and then go back the opposite direction, but it is very very rare for that to happen, but you know me, I love to film very rare stuff happening and I do have a video of that lunar light coming on for that situation and the video is below.

Finally, you see another signal right in between the tracks and that is a dwarf trolley signal because it's close to the ground. That signal is for trolleys on the left side of the tracks going the same direction as the right side of the tracks. There is a red and yellow light on that signal and it stays red normally 24/7 because it's extremely rare or maybe never even happened before that trolleys would use that signal.
