I’m am not an iconographer. I am merely an individual who wanted to learn how to write an icon. I enrolled in a group class with a local iconographer and I also bought an online class by an international iconographer.

I struggled to find this type of video online so I hope this well help someone.

In this video I provide two useful tips. The first one is to apply garlic on the edge of the gold leaf where there will be paint so it adheres to it. The second tip is the application of paint on gold.

In the final part, I will show 3 work in progress. That is part 8, I will show you my three work in progress which I hope to finish over the next few months
