In today’s episode we will talked about the 3 versions of the song – Kuch Na Kaho Kuch Bhi Na Kaho. A Film that revolves around the
The movie is – 1942 A Love Story which is co-written, Directed & Produced by Mr. Vidu Vinod Chopra who conceptualised war and love at the same time. A Film that revolves around two contrasting family backgrounds where the son of a rich & famous politician falls in love with the poor freedom fighter’s daughter & since the film has the backdrop of India’s revolutionary freedom struggle, how their relationship was threatened due to the outbreak of the Indian revolution movement. This background is essential to understand the 3 versions of the song we talked about in this episode.
The lead roles were played by the ever young hero of current times Mr. Anil Kapoor & very beautiful – naturally, Manisha Koirala & supporting roles were plated by Jakie Shroff, Anupam Kher & Danny.
The male version sung by Kumar Sanu is romantic and the female version is sung by Lata Mangeshker which is a sad version and plays in the background in the film. There was a third version of this song too with a complexly different tune and lyrics but that in spite of being rehearsed was never recorded. There was a controversy too regarding the same but it was brushed aside nicely by the actual singer Kavita Krishnamurthy.
