Ingredients:
2x medium size White Onions
2x 200gm of Diced Bacon
2x Cans of sliced Mushrooms
1x Teaspoon of Olive Oil
2x Cups of Braai pap
2x Teaspoons of fine salt
3x Cups of Boiled Water
1x Cup of Water

Method:
Take your two medium size onions and chop them up into small pieces. Get your braai up to 140 degrees Celsius of heat. Add your cast iron casserole dish and cast iron skillet to the braai to warm up. Take the teaspoon of olive oil and add it to the skillet, also add the chopped onions to the skillet and stir. Remove your diced bacon from the packets and cut into smaller pieces. Add the bacon to the skillet and stir. Take your two cans of sliced mushrooms, remove the brine water and add the mushrooms to the skillet and stir. Add a cup of water to the skillet to create a sauce.

Take three cups of boiled water and add it to the casserole dish. Add two cups of Braai pap and the two teaspoons of fine salt to the boiled water and stir very well. Let the pap simmer for two minutes and stir. You want the pap to be a medium stiffness. If the pap is to stiff add a little bit of water and stir. If the pap is to runny add another tablespoon of pap and stir. Let the pap simmer for 45 minutes at a 140 degrees Celsius to be perfectly cooked.

Add all the ingredients of the skillet and add it to the casserole. Stir very well to make sure everything is perfectly mixed. Let the pap mixture simmer on the braai for another 5 minutes and remove the casserole from your braai. Get your braai temperature up to a 180 degrees Celsius of heat.

Remove the pap mixture from the casserole into a glass Pirex pan or a Stainless Steel pan. Even spread the pap across the pan. Evenly spread 500gm of shredded cheese across the top part of the pap. Take 250ml of fresh cream and pour it evenly across the Cheese.

Take the pan and add it back to the braai. Let it braai till the cheese is crispy. Remove the pan from the braai and serve.
