Cultivation - Kora (Album Mix) {Himalayan Reggae Dub} [Everest Sound System]

"Kora", the third album by Cultivation is a special project. With the vision of Nature and Lee Scratch, all the groundwork for this project was scratched from the ground surface, from producing to recording to singing and minimalistic melodic translations.

The literal meaning of the album is derived from the Tibetan word "Kora" as in a rotation or circumambulation of a sacred place. Bón tradition's circumambulation is a counter clock wise movement. Even the Tibetan Buddhism followed the counter clockwise path until the 5th Dalai Lama. In the case of this album, the Kora here tries to emulate the Bón traditions, but in a full circle of earth around the sun, which takes 365 days. And in completion of a kora around the sun, the earth goes through 4 major seasons.

4 major tracks in the album kora will be a musical translation of the 4 seasons featured with friends and family of Everest Sound System. This album consist of 15 tracks, featuring regional collaborations with Mukyah, Kontinuom, Easi 12, Ras Man Man, Ras Jata, Atsushi Ouchi & Maini.
