It would be easy for a gimmick boss fight like this to become tedious or annoying, but I think this fight nails making it fun pretty well.

First off, Nyleth's moveset is relatively defensive; the moves are well-telegraphed and individually cover a limited space, meaning it's easier to focus on reaching the wall to reset yourself and plan your next approach. Second, this fight comes very late in the game, at a point when you're not only comfortable with controlling Hornet, you've unlocked every movement ability and possibly every tool, giving you a lot of control over how you navigate the space and approach the fight. Despite having no floor, you're given a lot of leeway in how you choose to stay airborne and how aggressive you play it. It feels less like a restriction on you and more like a puzzle asking to be solved, and every player I've watched do this fight solves is a bit differently, which is great.

Thematically, I like that all of the Hearts of Pharloom are emotional and driven characters, it adds weight to the final quest of the game and enhances the feeling that Pharloom was, and still is, more alive than Hallownest was during the events of Hollow Knight.
