Not a review as nobody does this these days as out of date. More of a what do i use and how does it work. This radio weighed in at around 120 euro with shipping and works good. Has some features like Compander and Noise Gate which were premiered on a much more expensive Stabo radio recently.


All Multi Norms, a tad under 4 watts FM and around 3.7w AM with dual voltage 12/24v and a USB charger which is excellent on my ipad charges it nicely. 7 color display (i only use Green) annoying key bleep (turned off) Corrugated case and a nice heat sink. Fully expanded the radio makes 5.5w AM and 20w FM but what is the point as no option for hi, medium and low power so makes using an amplifier almost impossible.


Tidy no adjust board and good sound from the standard microphone. Also been testing it on the Albrecht VOX Mike where it sounds a little digital BUT the Albrecht mike kills background noises absolutely stone cold.


Not an updated radio, it has enough features and under 100 euro. Would i change things? Yes and really only around the power options in enhanced mode. Otherwise it is a daily driver of a radio. AM works superbly well and FM works also fine, audio less bright that AM but no troubles at all.
