Once there lived a king in the 11th century whose empire spread across India, Sri Lanka, Maldives named Raja Rajan. A renowned emperor, who was also keen on art and architecture.
The Peruvudaiyar Kovil also known as the Brihadeswara temple is a standing example of the Dravidian Architecture which becomes an identity for the Chola empire.
