Colouring Tutorial: How to Colour Metal.

A tutorial demonstrating a quick, easy technique to achieve a basic metal effect using both coloured pencils and Inktense pencils in your colouring books.

I demonstrate my way of achieving a metallic effect with just these pencils and a white gel pen to get a shiny metal look to a coloured picture. I used Kerby Rosanes' 'Imagimorphia' in this demonstration as there is a dearth of metal themed drawings in this book you can choose from. I explain the concept of colouring metal showing you examples of metallic objects so that you can better understand how to apply my tutorial to your own piece. I hope this is helpful to you.

The media I use are:
Inktense pencils 'Paynes Grey'.
Polychromos pencils
White Uniball Signo gel pen.
Kuretake waterbrush fine tipped.
