As waves of alien machinations descend on the city-turret you command, the upgrade tree blossoms fast-rail-guns become multi-barrel death machines, shield drones hum in ruthless harmony, nuke-drops hurtle in your wake-all while the world ends with a wry grin. It’s a sharpened, relentless sprint across doom and dark comedy, equal parts strategic base defence and manic shoot-out, reminding a veteran player that no matter how many platforms or eras you’ve lived through, there’s still a rush to be found in holding the line.
