কলকাতার আর পাঁচটা মধ্যবিত্ত পরিবারের ছেলের মতই school -এর গন্ডি পেরিয়ে Engineering পড়তে college -এ admission নেন অরিজিৎ হাজরা। Engineering-টা অরিজিতের ভালোলাগত না, তা নয়, তবে অল্প কিছুদিনের মধ্যেই তিনি বুঝতে পারেন Engineering college -এ যা পড়ানো হয়, আর industry job -এ যে skill এবং requirement দরকার হয় তাদের মধ্যে আকাশ-পাতাল তফাৎ। অরিজিৎ বুঝতে পারেন technical skill করতে গেলে তাঁকে নিজেই শিখে নিতে হবে। Financial condition খুব ভালো না হওয়ায় অরিজিৎকে সেই সময়েই রোজগার করার জন্য বিভিন্ন জায়গায় volunteer-এর কাজ করতে হয়। এর পর প্রচন্ড পরিশ্রম করে তিনি নিজে হাতে গড়ে তোলেন তাঁর technical training institute, Think Again Lab।
College জীবনে failure -এর অন্ধকারে প্রায় তলিয়ে যাওয়া থেকে ঘুরে দাঁড়িয়ে নিজের হিম্মতে entrepreneurship journey শুরু করেন অরিজিৎ। এরপর তাঁর Think Again Lab পেয়েছে অসংখ্য স্বীকৃতি, সম্মান এবং পুরষ্কার।

Arijit Hajra stepped into an Engineering college after his 12th just like other middle-class family boy of Kolkata. Although he didn’t dislike the Engineering course, gradually he started realizing that there is a huge gap between the curriculum of the Engineering colleges and the required skill sets of industry jobs. Arijit realized that to acquire the technical skill, he had to learn on his own. At that time he had to work as volunteers at various places due to poor financial condition of his family. However, he founded his technical training institute Think Again Lab by enormous hard work.
From being almost gulped by the failure in college life, Arijit started his entrepreneurial journey from with huge courage. And then, his Think Again Lab has received numerous recognition, honour and prizes.
Today, on Josh Talks stage, we have brought an unbelievable story from Arijit Hajra himself as how he defeated all the odds in his life.


Arijit Hajra is the CEO of Think Again Lab. It is India’s first techno-spiritual company working in robotics and AI. Arijit is one of the most promising and budding entrepreneurs to come out of Bengal in recent times.
