How to Loosen Stiff Pliers, Rusty or Not

My co-worker used my Knipex High Leverage Diagonal Cutting Pliers (dykes) and some how made them Impossible to open so here I show how I loosen up pliers. Also I did this to a pair of Klein Tools Heavy Duty Dykes that were slightly stiff from factory and have gotten stiffer from a little bit of corrosion.

You don't have to do exactly what I did, just spray some sort of penetrate fluid, let it sit to break down any rust and then some sort of lube/oil to keep friction on the low. Open and close the tool repeatedly until it becomes loose enough to open easily. Hope this helped! To prevent rust from forming, make sure you oil your tools, you don't need much, just enough to prevent any oxidization.
