Carbide Create (Free) Vs. Pro & Overview of Available Functions

In this video we go over the different features of Carbide Create & Carbide Create Pro. We briefly touch on the Design & Tooling abilities of each. The main difference being Pro you can do 2.5D Design & Carving from 2D files & the New Engrave Feature.

Carbide Create/Pro can import SVG/DXF

They both also have a Image Tracer, that works on JPG, PNG, & BMP files. So you can convert them to a vector. The image tracer is best used on simple objects.

Carbide does not use STL or OBJ Files, so if you want to use those you will need to convert them to a Depth Map First.
