The inaugural National Lab Research SLAM showcases the best and brightest of the Department of Energy’s early-career researchers on Capitol Hill. Seventeen participants, one from each DOE National Laboratory, have three minutes to share their research with a broad, non-expert audience in an engaging and entertaining way. Judges will evaluate participants on content and communication in four research areas, and a People’s Choice winner will be selected by the in-person and virtual audience. Winners will be announced on nlresearchslam.org and on X (Twitter) @ENERGY.
