Deonar Bakra Mandi is open 24*7 (about 10 to 13 days before Bakra Eid Festival). During the off season days the mandi is officially held on Tuesdays and Saturdays though it is open on all days during the day time. A week or two before the Eid festival, Deonar is open all day all night leading up to Eid from the day it officially opens its door for goat traders from all parts of India. We visited Deonar Bakra Mandi with our friend Anas Abbasi from Delhi. This was his first time visiting Deonar Bakra Mandi and he was all praises for this market.
