MinnMax's Ben Hanson interviews Paul Owens, Paul Levering, and Asif Siddiky from 2 Player Productions. They're the film crew embedded at Double Fine who created the Double Fine Adventure documentary and the new 32-part series Double Fine PyschOdyssey covering the full development of Psychonauts 2. We talk about the logistics of how they filmed for 7 years and managed to edit over 5,000 hours of footage into a riveting documentary showcasing game development in a way nobody has before. We also talk about the limits of the documentary and working with Tim Schafer and Zak McClendon. This interview contains vague spoilers about the development of Psychonauts 2, if you don't want to know anything about the production before watching the documentary.
