Hello famz,
Welcome back to our channel. We’re bouta switch things around. In today’s tutorial, we will be making Nigerian pap part 2( corn starch pudding) using cornmeal. Ooh yes you saw right.It is called Akamu in my local dialect (Igbo) and Ogi in Yoruba.

Akamu, Ogi or pap(cornmeal pudding) is a corn meal made from soaked corn.
To make Akamu , you need;
*Lots if clean water( I used purified water)
*bags of aunt jemime yellow cornmeal.

Equipment needed;
Blender
Chiffons cloths or scarf for sieving
Muslin bag or pillow case
Bowls.

Notes:
1) Don’t buy a cornmeal mix ( it contains flour and salt). It must be only “YELLOW CORNMEAL”.
2) Must keep away from salt. Make sure to wash all your utensils before use.
3) Don’t put your fermenting cornmeal in the fridge.
4) when you put your already sieve pap into the muslin bag, add some weight to it to take out all the water.

Benefits:
Pap/Ogi/Akamu is used for nursing mothers to improve breast milk supply.
*It’s serves a perfect meal for your infants instead of the already processed foods for kids.
*It helps to boost sperm production in men.

Pap/Ogi/Akamu can be eaten with:
