TAS (Tool-assisted speedruns) are speedruns done on an emulator, frame by frame, in the interest of both providing an entertaining thing to watch and showing the fastest possible theoretical time if the game was played by a machine.
One of the best runs I've ever done in my life.
Lots of interesting strats that can be used in the future.
As weird as it sounds, the strat after the Rafters Sign (1:27) is pretty simple.
Considering I've gotten this strat 5 times in a row, I will 100% carry it over to my runs.
There is access to literally 1-2 seconds save here, but sub-1:50 is completely impossible for either man or machine.
Is sub-2 possible for humans?
It's hard to say for sure considering the current world record on SRC is 18.5 seconds slower than sub-2, but I believe there is no limit to human capabilities in this game, someday we will definitely see sub-2 in a superior human performance.
