The Grove of Titans Trail

Pacific Northwest Trip: Part 8
Heading to our first hike in California, we left our oceanside Airbnb in Sixes Oregon, stopped for breakfast in Crescent City, and started up Howland Hill Road into Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park... but we didn't make it far. A small tree had fallen across the road and it's roots were not letting go. So we took the long way around to get to the trailhead. Wasn't the plan but was still very scenic.
This is an amazing trail as a lot of people undoubtedly know. The feel of it is so memorable, as were those big beautiful trees.
It was a reasonably short hike and very well maintained.
You'll get to see some very large trees and we even found a banana slug.
