Let's continue our Switch recipe dial-in! In this video, we’re using the modified Tetsu Kasuya’s new hybrid recipe and testing different immersion times: 30s - 40s - 50s.

We’ll break down each immersion time, from 30s to 50s, comparing their, flavor profiles, and overall experience. Which recipe delivers the best balance, sweetness, and complexity? We’ll let the brews—and our taste buds—do the talking.

Ratio: 1|15
Dose: 15 grams
Water: 225mL
Temperature: 92C / 82C
Minerality (Alkalinity/Calcium/Magnesium): 50/50/25 ppm as CaCoO3-

(Modified) Tetsu Kasuya's recipe (original recipe uses 20g)
Coarser grind size (CM40 28 clicks, 8.5 Ditting)
1 - Immersion | 40mL, 40s
2 - (open valve) Pour | 50mL - total 90mL
3- Pour | 60mL - total 150mL
4 - Immersion | 75mL, low temp kettle, 40s - total
5 - Open valve
