Sgor Gaoith MTB | And a descent you need to ride!

Welcome to Sgor Gaoith (Sgòr Gaoith). This has to be one of the most accessible and fun munros that you can ride on the MTB.

Sgor Gaoith itself is the highest point on the cliffs overlooking Loch Einich. It stands at 1118 m (3667 ft) tall. Because it overlooks the loch, the whole Eastern flank of this mountain is steep and rocky. From the broad summit plateau riders can head North linking to Sgoran Dubh Mor (1111m). A ridge runs North West leading to tracks through the forests to Feshiebridge.

Without a doubt, Sgor Gaoith is one of the most spectacular places you can take your MTB. In this particular video we also end up riding one of the most incredible descents I have ever ridden. Watch this video then get yourself up Sgor Gaoith for some serious MTB action!
