Winter dry flies? Try this High Viz Griffith's Gnat

The Griffith's Gnat has long been one of the most effective winter dry fly patterns. It's a great imitation of a midge or midge cluster and even with an indicator is a simple pattern to tie.

Hook: #18-24 dry fly
Thread: Black
Indicator: Anything bright, tied sparse and clipped short
Hackle: Grizzly palmered
Body: Peacock herl
