Tones, operation, build, quality/price ratio. The GP-200 was already great, but the GP-200X has key improvements that for us make the whole difference:

1. The new Ice Delay (the CB Mood Slip type) is one of the best digital delays ever made. In any format, pedal or modeler.

2. New reverb and modded PRE block to allow drives to be stacked with the DIST block.

3. The new Valeton artist presets for both guitar and bass. We are in there too, and we rock! ❀ʕ ｡•㉨•ʔ人ʕ•㉨•｡ ʔ❀

4. The ON/OFF button is even smoother and blocks any noise as soon as its turned off.

Honestly, this is the ONLY time we've ever found a buffer delay in any modeler out there. Instant Chase Bliss Mood Slip tones. You never find such complex effects even in the most expensive modeler. The controls are incredibly comprehensive, it actually has some things not found on the Chase Bliss pedal itself! The tube reverb model is also great and easily integrated with both clean and overdriven amps. And, as certified stacking nuts, the PRE drives going into the DIST block get some of the best tones in a modeler. And the presets and other small improvements over the GP-200 really set it apart: more than just a new colorway. So much more!

This is what it means to cherish your flagship product. Many companies (Boss in particular) can learn from Valeton, from reliably releasing new firmware to always giving the utmost control over all effects parameters.
