Making a Wooden Fishing Lure using Hedge Wood

Sometime when I'm out fishing I find this awesome wood called Osage Orange or Hedge. The outside isn't anything impressive but as soon as you cut into it there's a bright golden yellow color. I've been wanting to make a fishing lure out of this wood for a while I just haven't gotten around to it til now.
