BMW 335i N54 Oil Filter Housing "Stand" Gasket Full Video DIY

One of the most common maintenance routines on a BMW is removing and installing the full-flow oil filter. We go over the important steps to complete this process.

Step 1: Detach coolant hose to drain coolant (3:09)
Step 2: Detach another coolant hose from oil cooler (4:17)
Step 3: Remove oil filter cover (4:47)
Step 4: Disconnect oil pressure switch (5:44)
Step 5: Remove 3 screws from oil cooler (6:11)
Step 6: Clean the cylinder head (8:57)
Step 7: Clean the oil filter cap to oil filter housing (9:55)
Step 8: Install the gasket and re-install oil filter (12:46)
