Maisie Peters - Personal Best - Lyric Video

I wrote this song with Antony and Josie from Oh Wonder. I am huge fans of theirs and so when I got the chance to work with them last summer I obvs jumped on that bandwagon in a big big way. We wrote this song in their living room as they had literally just moved house, so only had their piano in an otherwise huge empty room. We also only ate toast and marmite because they had no kitchen. Iconic.

This song for me is about my home friends and specifically my sister. She is my personal best, and it's funny because I don't entirely know what that means but I also know it's entirely true. If you get it you get it. It's maybe my favourite song on the EP and Ant and Josie are genuinely two of the most talented songwriters I have ever worked with. This song is literally fulled to the brim with love, both in the making and the thinking.
