Minutes after undergoing DTR therapy to treat her "TMJ", a patient discusses what she has just experienced. Basically, her chronic tooth sensitivity issues disappeared after undergoing DTR therapy, and as we filmed her minutes after completing her DTR, she was experiencing an unusually relaxed feeling in her neck, shoulders, and face, parts of her body which are typically always tense. She discusses the laundry list of doctors whom she had seen in the past to help her with her TMD problems, and the fact that all efforts were to no avail, until today. The others had prescribed various bite splints and unmeasured bite adjustments. Dr. Nick measured her candidacy via the Neural Occlusion screening protocols to see if she was a DTR candidate using MRI, CBCT, Tscan and EMG. Though she was found to have damaged cartilage in both of her TMJ's, the orthopedic influences were stable and adapted enough for us to implement DTR occlusal/bite adjustment therapy, using computerized metrics to guide our progress along the way!.
