পোশাক শিল্পের ইতিহাসে সবচেয়ে ভয়াবহ বিপর্যয় ২০১৩ সালের ২৪ এপ্রিল বাংলাদেশের রানা প্লাজা ধস। রাজধানী ঢাকার সাভারে অবস্থিত আট তলা এই ভবন ধসে মারা যান অন্তত ১১৩৫ জন শ্রমিক। আহতদের অনেকেই চিরস্থায়ী পঙ্গুত্ব নিয়ে ধুঁকে ধুঁকে জীবন কাটাচ্ছেন। মানসিক যন্ত্রণা এখনও তাড়া করে ফেরে উদ্ধারকারী, সংবাদকর্মী, আলোকচিত্রীদেরও।

The most horrific tragedy in the history of the garment industry occurred on April 24, 2013, with the collapse of Rana Plaza in Bangladesh. Located in Savar, a suburb of the capital Dhaka, this eight-story building collapse claimed the lives of at least 1,135 workers.

Many of the survivors continue to struggle with permanent disabilities, enduring life with great hardship. The mental anguish persists, affecting rescuers, journalists, and photographers alike.
