The festival’s theme was
“May of 1968. Fifty Years Later...” (Mai 1968. Cinquante ans après...)

"In and Out of bounds" / “Within and Outside limits”

Much has been written about the social and cultural atmosphere of May ’68, a commingling of ideas and claims, which seemed to unite the young in a common vision. It initiated a fundamental questioning of "thousands of years of dust, hate and misery", as Manos Hadjidakis wrote.
