Kata KURURUNFA | San Juan, La Union | Karate at the Beach | Ricca Torres

Hiiii! Went to one of the surfing spots in the Philippines - San Juan La Union and I decided to perform katas on the beach. I did Kururunfa kata in Goju ryu style. This is one of the first few katas I learned in Goju ryu. It was harder than I thought, but I sure did enjoy!

La Union is located in the northern part of Luzon and is part of region 1. There are professional surfers who are hailed in this province. It does not only boast its beaches for surfing, but is also the home for delicious food! Ilocano is the dialect that is widely used in La Union.

If you are in Manila and would want to learn how to surf, a land travel to La Union would be worth it!
